These settings are all about how the image is shown on the screen. Everything changed here is just cosmetic, nothing will change the quality or length of recordings.

These settings are set per camera. You can easily copy the settings to all cameras by useing the Copy to all button in the top right.

- Press the menu button on the remote and enter the password (default is 6666)
- Choose the menu options: Record → Channel

Setting | Options | Explanation |
Channel name | User Input (16 Letters/Numbers) | This lets you give an easy to remember identifier to a given channel. E.G. the rear camera may be called Rear |
Time | ☑ ☐ | Tick this if you want to have the current date and time shown on the video. |
Channel name | ☑ ☐ | Tick this if you want to have the channel name (see above) shown on the video. |
Car ID & GPS | ☑ ☐ | Tick this if you want the Car ID (set here) and current GPS location (if plugged in and turned on here) shown on the video. |
Up down | ☑ ☐ | Tick this to flip the image from top to bottom, useful if the camera was installed upside down. Note that this option is only available in version VC.7 and above (find your current version by checking here). If you have an earlier version and you need this option, give us a call on the normal Durite number |
Left right | ☑ ☐ | Tick this to flip the image from left to right, useful if you're using the camera in place of a rear view mirror, and you don't have a mirror camera available. Note that this option is only available in version VC.7 and above (find your current version by checking here). If you have an earlier version and you need this option, give us a call on the normal Durite number |
