  1. Press the menu button on the remote and enter the password (default is 6666)

  2. Choose the menu options: System→Setup→Base

Explanation

Date FMT

 YYYY-MM-DD
DD-MM-YYYY
MM-DD-YYYY		 The way the date is displayed on the screen.
Date

 Date in YYYY-MM-DD format Allows you to enter the date manually if the GPS timing is not set. This is done by selecting the part you want to edit, pressing the button on the remote until it is replaced with "0"s, then you can use the numbers on the remote to enter the new date.
Language

 ENGLISH
CHINESE
PORTUGUESE
RUSSIAN
FRANCE
TURKISH		 The language of all the menus in the DVR.
Delay time

 0000s
0005s

NEVER		 This is also sometimes referred to as Post Ignition Recording
This is how long the DVR stays turned on after the ignition is lost. NEVER means it will stay on permanently as long as there is 12/24V power to it.
DST

 OFF
ON		 Changes the current time to the DST time
Time

 HH:MM:SS (24h time) Allows you to enter the time manually if the GPS timing is not set. This is done by selecting the part you want to edit, pressing the button on the remote until it is replaced with "0"s, then you can use the numbers on the remote to enter the new time.
Video mode

 PAL
NTSC		 This is the encoding system of the recorded video, leave this as PAL for the UK and Europe
Speed unit

 KM/H
MPH		 Switches the speed from KM/H to MPH
