This guide will go over the layout for the settings pages of the DX and DL range of DVRs
Accessing the Menu - Using a remote
- Press the SETUP button on the remote and enter the password (default is eagle)
Accessing the Menu - Using Touchscreen monitor
- Tap the screen to bring up the options along the bottom of the screen, then tap the Login icon in the bottom right corner (see image below)
Menu Main Page
The main page of the menu has 6 options;
REC Search - Where you can playback the footage that has been recorded and stored on the internal hard drive. An article on this page can be found here
System - Where you can view different information about the DVR, including Firmware version, Wireless connections, Location data, etc. An article on this page can be found here
Log Search - Where you can check the activity log of the DVR, which will list events like; triggers being activated, DVR powering down, etc. An article on this page can be found here
Setup - Where you can access all the settings for the DVR. An article on this page can be found here
ITS - ***TEXT COMING***. An article on this page can be found here
Logout - This option will log you out of the menu and return you to the camera feed screen. An article on this page can be found here

As you can see from the tree above, some sections are 4 layers deep. A break down of how the page displays these layers is below:
The first layer of pages is displayed on the home page of the main menu (please see the image above the menu tree)
Navigating through the next three layers is all done from the same page. Please see a guide below which explains how the page is displayed out so you can see where each layer of pages are located, and the order you need to navigate them
Above shows an image of a page within Setup, which has up to 3 layers of pages under it. The image above labels where each of these layers are listed, so you can see what order you will need to select options to get to the desired page. Selecting the option from 2 (red), then 3 (blue), then 4 (green)
The System section of the DVR menu only has 2 layers of pages within it, and so on the System pages, there is no top bar (2/red), meaning that you will navigate from 3 (blue) then from 4 (green)
