Front panel lights explained

0-776-80, 0-776-81, 0-776-84

On the front of the DVRs


The rectangle on the bottom left of the DVRs can be useful to see what the DVR is doing at any moment.
This is what some of the lights mean:

Light	Explanation
PWR	This light will be on when there is power to the DVR and the hard drive cage is locked. If it is not on, make sure the lock on the front is in the locked position, and that there is power to the unit.
RUN	This light will be flashing on and off every second or so when the DVR is powered on and running normally. If it is not on, make sure the DVR is powered on, it may take up to 2 minutes on the first boot to initialise.
HDD	This light will be flashing very quickly when there is some activity on the storage device, which could be recording or playing back videos. If it is not on, make sure there is either a hard drive (0-776-81, 0-776-84) or an SD card (0-776-80) inserted.
3G	This light is used on different models of the DVRs which we do not supply.
WIFI	This light is used on different models of the DVRs which we do not supply.
ACC	This light will be on if there is power to the accessory wire (ignition wire). If it is not on, make sure the ignition is turned on and that there is power getting to the DVR.
ALM	This light will be on when there is an alarm active. If it is not on when there should be an alarm active, make sure the alarms are set up correctly and there is a signal getting to the unit.
SD	This light is used on different models of the DVRs which we do not supply.
GPS	This light will be flashing on and off every second or so when there is no GPS signal. It will be permanently on when there is a GPS signal. If it is not on, make sure the GPS arial is plugged in and placed in an area with good GPS signal.
LINK	This light is used on different models of the DVRs which we do not supply.
IR	This is not a light, this is the sensor that picks up the remote control. Make sure you always aim the remote control towards this sensor.
