.
.
S4/S8
This refers to the alarm input wire, so S1 is alarm input 1, S2 is alarm input 2 etc.
Enable

Lets you enable and disable individual triggers, so if you only want trigger 2 to be active, you can enable that one and leave the rest disabled.
Sensor Name

User Input (4 letters) You can give the alarm a friendly name here, it is what will be displayed on the screen if the OSD setting below is ticked. This could be something like Rev for the reversing alarm.
Trigger level

HIGH LEVEL
LOW LEVEL
HIGH LEVEL The alarm will activate when a 12/24V signal is fed into the alarm input
LOW LEVEL The alarm will activate a 0v signal is fed into the alarm input, so a 12/24V signal will turn the alarm off
Linkage

OFF
CH1
.
.
CH4/CH8
Lets you make a camera full screen when the alarm is active.
The recording will still record all connected cameras, it's only the live display for the driver that is affected
OSD

This will show the Sensor Name on the display while the alarm is active.
Alarm

This setting is used for different models of the DVRs which we do not supply.
Lock

Lock the file with the alarm on it so it won't get overwritten when the storage is full.
Alarm out

This will cause the output relay (connecting Alarm Output COM1 wires) to activate when the alarm is active.

If, for example, you have a reversing camera connected to channel 4, and you have a reversing feed (reversing lights is a good one) on alarm input 4, you would have it set up like so:

Alarm input and output

The 0-776-80 and the 0-776-81/84 have slightly different wire layouts for the inputs and outputs. Here are the diagrams:

The alarm output COM1 has a relay inside that closes when the alarm output is active. Alarm output COM2 is not used.
